Cigar is easily one of the greatest racehorses of all time and I got to meet him today! He raced until he was nine, won sixteen consecutive races, and won $185 shy of $10,000,000!!! He is a very personable horse and loved to pose for the camera!
We are here at the hotel and having a great time so far! It only took us about 11 hours from St. Catharines, Ontario. We are headed to the race track early tomorrow to watch the training and eat at the Track Kitchen. Lots of pictures to follow tomorrow!

William graduated from Williams Lake Secondary School on Saturday and did quite well for himself. We were all extremely proud when he won the Dogwood Sports Award and was named the athlete of the year!
