Yesterday’s Bridal Fair in Kamloops was a huge success!
So many people came up to me and said they had seen my winning picture in the paper, or on Facebook or had heard about me somewhere and were very excited to meet me! A couple of people even said that they thought I was the best photographer there with the images I displayed. Thanks!!
My booth stood out amongst the rest which was exactly what I was hoping for! There were 50 vendors and 10 photographers, amongst about 300 brides so I hope I made as good of an impression as people said I did!
I want to give special thanks to my friend Kendra (and the first bride I ever photographed) who helped me all day long from when we got there at 8am until after 4pm when we took the booth down! She did a great job talking to brides and helped to make sure that everyone who visited my booth left with my information in their goodie bags! We handed out postcards and something else that everyone said was totally unique and a great marketing tool – unlike what they had ever seen before – so I will definitely be doing that again!
I also need to thank Gert for helping to set things up and Jayme for helping set up and take down yesterday!
Most importantly though, I want to thank the brides, grooms, mothers, sisters, friends, and everyone else who came to visit me yesterday! I look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the future!
